This modern house features both a radiant floor and a radiant ceiling as well as a Messana NTD (Neutral Temp Dehumidifier) to control the humidity. The hydronic system is controlled by Messana controls (mControls). To complement the radiant cooling some Bryant fan coils are activated as a second stage. The mControls platform always favors the radiant cooling (for greater comfort) and supplements with air only when the room temperature differs from the setpoint by a user settable delta T. Once the temp gets closer to the setpoint it ramps the fan speed down for better thermal comfort and less noise.

📍Located in Menlo Park

The project team includes: Schwartz and Architecture (architect), Skaates Inc Plumbing & Hydronics (mechanical contractor)
