We assist the mechanical contractor in the control system start-up and verify proper functionality of the conditioning system. Additionally, we ensure that all controlled components and equipment respond to the appropriate control commands and that the system operates per its design. We also create a control system start-up checklist and assist the mechanical contractor so the checklist can be signed off and the system can be commissioned to the homeowner.

By default, we perform control system start-ups remotely. However, if you prefer, you can request our in-person start-up service, where one of our experts will be present at your job site to provide assistance.
The time required for start-up indicated in the offer is based on the expectation that the system has been fully wired, filled/purged, and has been dry run prior to the installation of controls. Extra time required due to the system not being ready for start-up shall result in additional billing.
