Alma Station
In 2018, Palo Alto, California, unveiled an architectural masterpiece, a 5,500 sqft project by Hayes Group Architects, embodying modern design and sustainable comfort. More than a building, it testified to the fusion of contemporary aesthetics and eco-conscious living, with interior design by The Wiseman Group reaching new heights of sophistication.
Inspired by an adjacent tower, the project seamlessly integrated residential flats, creating a harmonious union of elegance and innovation. The flats seemingly float above vibrant roof gardens and three commercial levels, with terra cotta cladding paying homage to the city’s traditional clay tile roofs.
Central to its appeal was the state-of-the-art climate control system. The Messana Ray Magicยฎ radiant ceiling, coupled with Messana Controls and an air-to-water heat pump, delivers efficient and precise heating and cooling, epitomizing the fusion of modern aesthetics with sustainable living. This project showcases how architectural excellence and eco-conscious technology can coexist, prioritizing occupants’ wellbeing and embracing innovation and sustainability in Palo Alto’s heart.
